Based in Montclair, NJ, Donate Sports is a non-profit association dedicated to supporting the athletic dreams of at-need youth in the New York metropolitan area. Founded in September 2017, Donate Sports annually collects and supplies hundreds of pieces of sports equipment to children and teens throughout the greater New York metropolitan area. Equipment drives are held three times a year at the conclusion of youth sports seasons (October, February, and May). Any type of new or gently used sporting equipment is accepted. Once an item is received, it is evaluated, approved, cleaned, and then given to a partner charity. The charity then offers the equipment to the appropriate child.
